The Spectre is a spray weapon used on half-buy rounds, mostly inside close range. You are rarely one-tapping and rarely holding a long angle, so extreme precision is not what your crosshair needs to give you.
A medium crosshair you can reacquire quickly suits it better. If you want feedback on when your spray has opened up, this is one of the few weapons where turning firing error on is genuinely informative rather than distracting.
